The R.E. Purvis & Associates, Inc.Technical Services Department utilizes Pro-Engineer: Wildfire 2.0 design software to interface with our customers. We are able to use custome’s part files to design a component into existing assemblies. This type of visualization enables us to be proactive and identify problems that may arise during assembly and design accordingly to best serve our customers.

R.E. Purvis & Associates, Inc.'s Quality Assurance Department uses non-contact measuring of most parts, through the Micro-Vu video based measuring system.
When measuring rubber and other non-metallic parts, a non-contact system is important. Because of the nature of these parts, measuring with traditional caliper methods can prove unreliable, especially on those with small cross-sections. Using a non-contacting video measuring system ensures that the part does not deform and much more accurate dimensioning can be achieved.
